Spring Pilgrimage

Springpilgrimagehoriz

Columbus, Mississippi, is dressing for her biggest event of the year. She is spreading her lawns with aprons of tulips and jonquils and polishing her wrought iron mantillas. Balconies are draped with lacy wisteria. Even the clocks have added an extra hour of sunlight, just so this belle of a city can sparkle a bit longer each evening. All this bustle makes us camera-ready for the fabulous Spring Pilgrimage.  Enjoy two weeks of non-stop fun with elegant parties, performances and, most importantly, historic home tours!

Roll through the city in a horse-drawn carriage, or perch atop an antique double-decker bus. The view is always lovely. Take a stroll through mysterious Friendship Cemetery where you will meet characters from our very distant past. Enjoy home cooking or French-influenced cuisine.
