Mississippi University for Women

The private-style education offered by The W is highlighted by the fact that it is located in the heart of Columbus' historic downtown. The campus itself is also home to more than 20 buildings listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

MUW offers four colleges consisting of more than 50 majors and concentrations. They are unparalleled in their success at offering exciting opportunities in the fine and performing arts. Their dedicated professors use their outstanding credentials to educate 2,300 students from more than 40 states and countries. The W has an affordable tuition and generous financial aid and scholarship programs. U.S. News & World Report consistently rates it as a "best value," and it was named 67 out of 100 top colleges in America by Kipling Finance Magazine.
