Culinary Arts Institute

The Mississippi University for Women Culinary Arts Institute provides culinary training using classic cooking techniques in small quantity food preparation. Students have the opportunity to earn a Bachelor of Science degree, become a culinary specialist and enhance their career options with a minor in the following emphasis areas:

Eugenia Summer Gallery

The Eugenia Summer Gallery is located on the southwest corner of the Mississippi University for Women campus, directly east of the Stark Recreation Center. Gallery hours are 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Mississippi University for Women

Mississippi University for Women, also referred to as The W, was established in 1884. This tradition-rich college is famous for being the first state-supported institution dedicated to the purpose of educating the women of its time, but it has also been educating men since 1982.

Trash & Treasures along the Tenn-Tom

The route of the massive yard sale starts at Pickwick Landing State Park north of Iuka, Mississippi, along Highway 25, including Burnsville, and follows the Tennessee-Tombigbee Waterway to Macon, Mississippi. Thousands of sellers and buyers participated in past events and you are cordially invited to be a seller or buyer, or just come to visit.
