NATIONAL REGISTER OF HISTORIC PLACES

This home reigns over four-and-a-half acres of landscaped lawn which includes three thousand boxwoods. Like many homes in Columbus, it was built on a hill because low places were considered unhealthy. Rosewood Manor was built for a Yankee bride who would not occupy it; she said vapors were unhealthy, and returned North. Rosewood Manor has a Greek Revival façade with a Federal influence. Open Monday - Saturday by appointment. Available for garden receptions.
